Breaking free from the emotional eating cycle is one of the most difficult tasks, but with the right guidance it is possible.

The Benefits of the Snack Reduction Programme

This programme is designed to

  • Set you on a self-exploration path, addressing the root causes of your snacking or overeating habits.
  • Break the connection between past emotional events and the urge to eat to satisfy a negative emotion (such as seeking comfort, soothing anger, rebellion, or boredom).
  • Provide you with crave-busting techniques and strategies to prepare and take control in the moment.
  • Learn to accept your urges in a healthy way, and live with the amount of snacking that is right for you. This is not a withdrawal programme, so you’ll still have your ‘snacking budget’.



The Topics and Activities we’ll cover

In this 10-week snack reduction programme, we’ll combine conversational and eyes-closed techniques to explore and adapt your lifestyle in ways that will help you understand your triggers (emotional, environmental or biological), develop healthy strategies for dealing with those triggers and learn techniques to practice between sessions, that will help you manage cravings and break free from the cycle of emotional eating.

Sessions will include:

  • History-taking and goal-setting session.
  • Additional 4 full hypnotherapy sessions
  • Bespoke self-hypnosis audio files to help you focus on your goals
  • Crave busting techniques to practice at home, backed by neuroscience
  • Weekly check-ins
  • Access to daily and weekly reflection exercises

Note: The schedule can (and probably will) change, as the programme is bespoke for your needs and patterns. It’s not uncommon to start treating snacks and moving to stress reduction in other areas of life (which could lead to another issue).
